Our approach

A file that closes — and can be explained.

  1. Review

Your situation, documents and any FTA correspondence — read before anything is filed.

  2. Plan

A clear list of what is needed, who owns it and by when.

  3. Follow up

Submissions, replies and reminders — chased until the FTA closes the matter.

  4. Document & protect

Everything recorded and retained, so every position can be explained in writing.

Ask a question
How much checking does each supplier need?

The Supplier Verification Form must be completed before deducting input VAT. The depth of the check follows volume: above AED 100,000 in supplies (last 12 months, or the next expected 12 months) a full verification applies; above AED 375,000 a UAE bank letter is preferred and reliable public sources should be reviewed; a single supply under AED 10,000 may not need a full check while total dealings stay within AED 100,000. Try the quick check above, then confirm your case with Wedad.

When does the new requirement start?

According to the guide, FTA Decision No. 13 of 2026 is effective from 1 October 2026: the Supplier Verification Form must be completed before deducting input VAT.

What should be kept on a supplier’s file?

The trade licence, tax registration certificate, the authorised representative’s ID, business address and contact details, contracts or invoices — and a bank letter for large suppliers. Any red flag must be explained in writing and kept on file.

Can you help if the FTA has already raised a query or a penalty?

Yes. Share the notice and your documents, and Wedad will review the position and set out the next step.

Do you work in Arabic and English?

Yes. Guidance, documents and meetings are available in both languages.

How do I get started?

Send a short message about your situation. Wedad will come back with the questions she needs answered and a proposed next step.
